Custom development
Do you need to solve a HW development problem? Develop a custom application or product? Since 1999, we develop and manufacture custom solutions. We are ready to find the best solution for you. Some of our finished projects are listed below.
We are ready to develop a whole new solution or adapt one of our existing solutions to meet your needs. The following list summarizes the main areas of our expertise:
- Complete access control solutions
- Industrial data collection and transfer
- Communication over RS232, RS485/422, USB
- Communication over Ethernet / GPRS / WiFi
- Communication solutions for GSM / GPRS
- I/O modules, sensors (voltage, current, temperature, humidity, ...)
- Line and protocol converters
- Software applications for Windows
If you need an application in another field, please ask.
Examples of finished projects
AIRoute – GPRS / Ethernet TCP/IP Router
The device enables Internet access from Ethernet networks, or vice versa. Includes remote management over WWW (LAN), SMS, or using special Windows SW.
Intended as a back-up Ethernet connection for:
- Remote PLCs
- Point-of-Sale terminals
Optic fiber monitoring
Ethernet-based unit for connecting an optic fiber monitoring system to the Ethernet. The input is a multi-master RS-485 bus with a proprietary protocol. Data are shared over the Ethernet using Telnet or SNMP.
SNMP DA – CAT
The product monitors a Caterpillar diesel generator set over WEB and SNMP. The unit is connected to the RS-232 interface of the CCM (monitoring unit of the Caterpillar diesel generator set).
In the application, additional 13 dry contact inputs can be used to monitor other equipment. The device is fully configurable over a Web / FLASH interface, or via XML.
Connection of a Point-of-Sale (POS) terminal to the Ethernet
The unit connects modem-based RS-232 Point-of-Sale terminals to the Ethernet.
The unit does not interfere with the modem circuitry, connects to RS-232.
The device represents an add-on solution of connecting POS terminals to the Ethernet, when it is not economical to authenticate transactions over a telephone connection.
PeopleMeter
Intelligent light-barrier sensor that detects the direction in which people pass. The output is intended for processing in a computer or another master system.
The device is integrated into a single unit and does not need a reflective surface at the other side. This simplifies installation in existing premises.
LaserBit SNMP module
SNMP and Terminal management for "LaserBit" laser links, configurable over SNMP and WWW. The unit provides 2 binary inputs and one relay output. It consists of a set of embedded circuit boards that are inserted into the LaserBit unit when the link is installed.
The solution was developed for one of LaserBit distributors before the LaserBit manufacturer started integrating their own SNMP monitoring solution to the units.
UPS control
Interface for remote control and monitoring of power supplies and UPS units over WWW. Alarm information can be communicated over SNMP. Based on the Charon2 module.
Linux ARM9 board
Industrial communications solution for projects under the Linux OS.
-
200MIPS ARM920T
-
64MB RAM
-
256MB / 4GB Flash
-
1x 10/100 Ethernet
-
4x Serial Port
-
4x USB Host
-
1x USB Device
-
OnBoard UPS (battery backup, controlled shutdown)
OpenVPN GPRS/HSDPA router
Secure data connection with a remote location. Security ensured with OpenVPN, uses a GPRS router. Optimizes custom protocols for data transfer over GPRS.
Based on the HWg Linux platform.
19" Rack Supervisor
Environment monitoring in server rooms and racks. Configuration over WWW, SNMP or XML, alarm information communicated using SNMP traps, e-mail or text messages (SMS).
The original rack version controls 230VAC outputs and supports up to 50 connected sensors.
LCD Terminal
The device allows you to control a standard character-based display, a beeper and four LEDs over a RS-232, RS-485 or TTL serial line using standard ANSI/VT100 commands.
RFID Terminal
A simple RFID terminal with an ID card reader, LCD status display and Ethernet connection.
Access control unit
Autonomous access control system for Dallas iButton chips, with relay outputs to control doors and memory capacity for 250 chips.
Parallel and serial port visualization
Remote devices connected to the embedded Charon module (dimensions 44 x 36 mm) can be controlled over SNMP. Integration with OpenView, NetView, CastleRock and similar environments is supported.
A module with a x51 microcontroller, 32kB RAM, 64kB FLASH, 2kB EEPROM. Part of the Web51 project. Simple user MIB extensions – automatic installation and updates (Java Webstart and JNLP) – authentication of the application with company certificate.
Connection of an exchange rate display to the Ethernet
A module that connects exchange rate displays to the Ethernet, with the option to change the displayed rates over WWW.
